Amazon's Android App Store DRM Policy Isn't So Crazy After All [Blip]

Despite some worrisome earlier reports, Amazon has clarified the DRM policies for their forthcoming Android App Store and they're actually not that crazy at all. Whereas it was initially thought that Amazon App Store-downloaded apps would need to check in with the mothership every time they were launched (thus raising questions about what would happen when phones didn't have a data connection), Amazon says that they'll only check-in online the first time the app is downloaded.
