So the other day, I was out in the suburbs visiting family. You probably know how it goes: a little relaxation, some gentle nagging from your mother because you never call anymore, and that home-cooked meal you've been missing since you moved out so long ago and never bothered to learn how to cook beyond boiling spaghetti. Maybe I'm wrong. In any case, this particular day, my mother insists we go out back and what we find is absolute chaos. Downed tree branches, broken glass, and what was left of a shed door that the wind must have picked up and thrown clear into our neighbor's yard. Or was it vandals? I wonder how the hell all this happened, and how it only happened in our yard. My mother wonders how the hell her things will be replaced because, "Who puts insurance on a shed??"
